“You know you’re beautiful, girl / So do it with the lights off”…. The epitome of romance, actually. The Naked is a band from Venice, CA and I really like the title track off their new album “Lay Back”. I also recommend the song “Pretty Girl”. They’ll be performing at SXSW in Austin, TX next month. Railroad Earth is a neat bluegrass band.  This is a live version of their upbeat and lively song “Daddy-o”, which has some great fiddle solos.  You can hear some more of their stuff over at Last.fm.

Welcome to the kalatva music blog.  Our goal here is to showcase some of the songs we’ve newly discovered and enjoyed and share a variety of eclectic styles with the world.
